High Speed Sampling Cytometer

Fast flow rate, 4 lasers, high speed electronics, 3 early generations of iQue5 systems

Principal Flow Cell Design, Hands-on management.  Ran a large team (~40 part-time contributors) to develop prototype through NPI systems, a next gen product for tier1 company.  All subsystems designed by our team and introduced to Manufacturing in 2023.

Generated the 5 phased proposal and negotiated with client for deliverables and scope, selected team

de-risk phase through Beta-NPI transition to CM, actuals were ~$15M over 4 years, to production Q1 2023

very high-performance cytometer (cell counter)

·        4 lasers (100mw) and steering/focusing optic

·        28 detectors (mostly PMT) and related optics

·        custom digitization Electronics and Firmware, data rate is GHz

·        Motion and HW controls: plate handling and misc. pumps, valves, sensors, etc.
